IDENTIFICATION AND REMARKS
Manufactured at the Fabrica Nacional de Toledo (ENSB) in large lots.
This was the definitive 9mm Long ball cartridge, an
improvement achieved by Lt. Col. Nunez at Toledo, consisted mainly in
the varnishing of the inside of the case neck, which gave crimping
force as well as waterproofness to the cartridge..
It differs from the rest in being of superior quality,
in having a different bullet base shape, and in being loaded with
non-corrosive, no-mercuric tetrinox composition.
